Conference Format
The SiF2022 conference will be held in a hybrid format to allow online and in-person attendance. Travelling to Hong Kong now requires NO Hotel Quarantine but only self-monitoring of heath status! So let's meet in Hong Kong!
CURRENT In-bound Travel (with effect since 26 Sep 2022) requires 3-day Self-monitoring (going out and attending conference are both allowed under Amber code except table dinner). We strongly encourage you to arrive on or before 28 Nov 2022 for the catering limitation, although we do hope the amber code being removed soon. During the conference, we will provide lunch boxes for not violating the current requirement:

You can complete Tier 1 Basic Registration from 1 September 2022. This can be upgraded to Tier 2 Full Registration if and when you wish to confirm in-person attendance by paying an additional early bird fee (on top of the Basic Registration) any time up until 16 October.
Registration Schemes of SiF2022
Tier 1 Basic Registration: 500 HKD
This would be a first-step registration allow access to virtual conference platform (online presentations), conference program, proceedings, and upgrade to Tier 2 (in-person attendance)
(You will be redirected to PolyU Finance Office page for online payment in HKD. A notification email will be sent after receiving your transfer）
Tier 2 Full Registration
This offers you full access to SiF2022 venues at PolyU during your in-person attendance, including f2f presentation, coffee breaks, lunch, conference banquet.
-- Full Registration: 3500 HKD (Full registration will be closed on 23 Nov for catering confirmation)
--You can also pay the additional payment 3000 HKD to upgrade your Tier 1 registration to Tier 2 full registration (Upgrade to full registration will be closed on 23 Nov for catering confirmation)
--Accompanying Registration: 1500 HKD (after 26 Oct 2022)
This is to cover the meals and conference banquet provided for an accompanying person with you but not attending conference
Local Day-Pass Registration
For Hong Kong local attendees, you can register SiF2022 with a day pass. Please let us know the day of attendance after your registration.

Student Travel Grant
Under the support of Croucher Foundation, we are glad to announce Student Travel Grant (5000 HKD each to six students with certificate) to support your trip to Hong Kong! Please fill the application form below and send it to sif2022@polyu.edu.hk. The application will end up on 11 Nov 2022 and we will form a selection panel to finalize the awarding list by 15 Nov 2022.
